Verizon Wireless said today that it will start offering the Samsung Galaxy S III on July 10.
The smartphone will be available in Verizon stores and online via verizonwireless.com/galaxys3 next Tuesday.
Verizon will sell the 16GB and 32GB version of the Galaxy S III for $199.99 and $249.99, respectively. But only the 16GB version will be sold in stores on July 10; the 32GB will come to retail outlets "in the coming weeks," Verizon said. Both versions will be available online next week.
The phone comes in two colors: Marble White or Pebble Blue.
AT&T announced yesterday that its version of the Galaxy S III will be released on July 6. The device was released on T-Mobile and Sprint on June 21, and is also expected to hit C Spire and U.S. Cellular in the near future.
The smartphone boasts a 4.8-inch Super AMOLED 1,280-by-720 display, and runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. It features an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera and 1.9-megapixel front-facing one.
A Samsung exec said recently that he expects sales of the Galaxy S III to hit 10 million by month's end.
